Armed & Unarmed Security GuardsUniformed Security Officers
Presence that stops problems before they start.
A professional officer changes the math for anyone thinking about causing trouble. Our armed and unarmed officers deter crime, spot risk early, and give your people the confidence to do their jobs.
Officers come from law enforcement and military backgrounds and are trained by PPSB-certified instructors. One site or twenty, you deal with one point of contact who answers the phone.
We start with a walk of your site and a straight conversation about what worries you: theft, trespassers, workplace violence, liability, or all of it. From there we recommend armed or unarmed coverage, the number of posts and patrols, and post orders your officers will actually follow. Incidents get a phone call, not just an email.
Officers are licensed through the North Carolina Private Protective Services Board, and armed officers hold state firearms registration. We stay in touch with your site manager, so standards don't slip after the first month.

What we handle
Security officer services
Armed officers
For sites where the risk is real: high-value inventory, cash handling, or a known threat. Armed officers are briefed on your site's rules for use of force and escalation before their first shift.
Unarmed officers
A visible, professional presence for front desks, lobbies, and plant gates. They deter problems, greet visitors, and write up anything out of the ordinary.
Patrols
Scheduled or random rounds of your buildings, lots, and perimeter, inside and out. Every round is logged, so you know where officers were and what they found.
Access control
Officers check IDs, badges, and vehicles at gates and entrances so only the right people get in, and keep visitor and delivery logs for your records.
Healthcare security
Calm officers for emergency departments, clinics, and medical offices. They de-escalate first and protect staff and patients when things get tense.
Corporate & industrial sites
Coverage for plants, warehouses, and offices, from shift change to overnight, with post orders written around your operation.
Event security
Entry screening, crowd management, and backstage or VIP areas for corporate events, concerts, fights, and private functions, coordinated with venue staff and local police.
Construction sites
After-hours coverage that stops theft of tools, copper, and equipment, with conditions documented on every round.

How we plan it
Every assignment starts with three questions.
What exactly are we doing, what could go wrong while we do it, and where are we doing it. The answers decide who we send, how many, and how they work.
- 01
The job
Who and what are we protecting, and during which hours? A lobby desk, a plant gate, and a loading dock at 2 AM are three different posts with three different post orders.
- 02
The threat
Theft, trespass, an angry former employee, a crowd that turns. We look at what has happened at your site and what's likely, and that decides armed or unarmed and how many officers.
- 03
The ground
Your layout, lighting, entrances, neighbors, and police response times. Officers are briefed on the ground they'll stand on before their first shift.
How it works
From the first call to the final report.
- 01
Confidential call
Call 980-521-9197 any hour. Tell us what's going on, and we'll ask the right questions and tell you straight whether we can help.
- 02
Plan and scope
We define the job, the threat, and the ground, then put the plan, the staffing, and the cost in writing before any work starts.
- 03
Boots on the ground
Briefed officers, investigators, or agents go to work, with one point of contact who answers the phone.
- 04
Report and follow-up
You get clear reporting in plain language, and we adjust as things change.
Questions
Frequently asked questions
When does a site need armed officers instead of unarmed?
When there is cash, high-value property, controlled materials, or a credible threat against the site or its people. Most offices and gates are well served by unarmed officers. We base the recommendation on the threat, not on what bills higher.
How are officers prepared for a specific site?
Every post runs on written post orders built around your operation: access rules, escalation steps, emergency contacts, and reporting. Officers are briefed on the site before their first shift, and supervisors check posts in person.
What kinds of sites and assignments do you cover?
Corporate offices, industrial and manufacturing plants, healthcare facilities, construction sites, retail, and events, with standing posts, mobile patrols, and access control as the site requires.
How do we know the post is being covered?
Officers log patrols and incidents in real time, supervisors make unannounced checks, and you get regular reports and a direct line to the manager responsible for your account.
What determines the cost of security officer services?
Armed or unarmed coverage, the number of posts, hours per week, supervision, and contract length. You get a written price after a short call, with no surprises later.
Are your officers licensed?
Yes. Jan-Lee is licensed by the North Carolina Private Protective Services Board (PPSB #000421P10) and South Carolina SLED (#D0001133), and our officers are registered with the state. Outside those states we work through vetted, licensed partners under our supervision.
Can coverage scale up quickly?
Yes. We add officers for a threat, a termination, a shutdown, or an event, and scale back when it passes, without changing your point of contact.
Do you provide security for events?
Yes. Concerts, corporate gatherings, sporting events, and private functions, with crowd management, credential checks, and VIP areas planned around the venue and the guest list.
