Private InvestigatorInvestigations · Surveillance · Background
The truth, documented.
Some decisions are too important to make on a hunch. Since 1978, our investigators have given clients the facts they need to move forward, whether that means confirming what they suspected or putting a worry to rest.
We build a plan around your situation, work it with discipline and discretion, and report what we find in plain language. When a case leads out of town, we follow it.
Our investigators are licensed professionals, and that matters when your findings may end up in front of a judge, an insurance adjuster, or a board. We document surveillance with time-stamped photo and video, keep a clean chain of custody, and write reports that hold up when they're read closely.
Attorneys, insurers, employers, and families call us for different reasons, but they all want the same thing: the truth, gathered legally and told plainly. Before we start, we'll talk through what an investigation can realistically find, the scope, and the budget, so there are no surprises.
Every case is unique.

How we plan it
Every assignment starts with three questions.
What exactly are we doing, what could go wrong while we do it, and where are we doing it. The answers decide who we send, how many, and how they work.
- 01
The job
What do you need to know, and what will you do with it? Court, a custody hearing, an HR decision, or peace of mind changes how evidence is gathered and documented.
- 02
The threat
Who could be tipped off, hurt, or embarrassed if the case is handled carelessly. We plan for discretion and safety first.
- 03
The ground
Where the subject lives, works, and travels, and the laws that apply there. Every step stays lawful so the facts hold up.
How it works
From the first call to the final report.

Questions
Frequently asked questions
What kinds of cases do you take?
Corporate, legal, and private matters: surveillance, background and due-diligence investigations, workplace misconduct and theft, workers' compensation claims, infidelity and other domestic matters, child custody, and support for criminal defense.
Do you work for private individuals as well as companies?
Yes. Individuals and families come to us for domestic, custody, and personal matters, and every case gets the same discretion and documentation as our corporate work.
Is my case kept confidential?
Yes. Who you are, what you asked for, and what we find stay between you, your attorney, and the investigators assigned to the case.
How do you keep evidence usable in court?
Everything is gathered lawfully, documented with time-stamped notes, photos, and video, and written up in reports built to withstand scrutiny from attorneys and judges. Our investigators testify when needed.
Do you work with attorneys and corporate counsel?
Yes. A large share of our work comes from law firms, insurers, and in-house counsel, and we can work at counsel's direction to protect privilege.
How is an investigation priced?
Most cases are billed hourly plus expenses. We agree on scope, budget, and reporting before any work begins.
What do we receive at the end of an investigation?
A written report of what was found, with supporting photos, video, and records, and a debrief to walk through what it means and what comes next.
Do you take cases in other states or overseas?
Yes. We work cases nationwide and overseas, using vetted licensed partners where required, with one point of contact throughout.
